Description:
If you can, mapquest it or utilize Ye Olde Global Positioning System. First Street is the first left turn in Wheatland if you're coming from Marysville on Highway 65 and the last right turn if you're coming from Lincoln.
Wheatland is between Marysville and Sheridan (Lincoln) on 65. First street doesn't have a sign, but you'll know it because Raj's gas station is right on the corner. Turn into the road which pretty much immediately dead ends in a gravel turn around. Look for a low chainlink fence with green things growing beyond it. That's the place.
While you don't have to dress up in period/steampunk/retrofuturistic garb, it's that much more fun if you do!
Bring your latest inventions, innovations and ideas to share! There will be a contest, with first, second and third place winners being awarded special prizes by democratic vote!
Also, bring anything you'd like to trade! We're doing a swap meet as well!
The event:
This is a potluck with a vaguely Victorian / outdoor garden party / picnic theme, so bring food (whatever quantity you can manage is fine. We're a friendly bunch) and tea, if you can. Meet new people, swap ideas, check out the steampunkery and just in general have a blast hanging out with awesome people in an awesome garden in historic Wheatland!
Bring:
* Food (it's a potluck! Even small things are welcome!)
* Water/Tea/Juice (it's summer! Stay hydrated!)
